About me

Brooke is the friendly voice you’ll most likely hear when you call Canny Legal – our resident “gatekeeper” and all-round support across our legal services.

From Conveyancing and Family Law to Wills and Estates, Brooke plays an integral part in helping our legal team deliver compassionate, responsive care to our clients when they need it most.

Before joining Canny Legal, Brooke worked in the healthcare sector as a Personal Care Assistant and spent time raising her family, which she proudly considers her greatest achievement.  With qualifications in Business Administration and Aged and Community Care, Brooke brings both technical skill and a deeply empathetic approach to her role.

Brooke is passionate about helping people through life’s more challenging transitions.  Whether it’s a client navigating separation or the complexities of estate planning, she understands that a warm smile, an open ear, and a touch of humour can make all the difference.  Her natural optimism, wit and upbeat attitude have made her a favourite among clients and colleagues alike – even if the team says she’s a little “nuts!”

A proud country Victorian, Brooke now lives just outside Geelong with her family.  She’s a volunteer speaker for Epilepsy Action Australia, has previously volunteered with Scouts and her local school.

While tattoos might not be what you expect from your average legal admin, Brook proudly wears a large back piece that sometimes peeks out on warmer days – a nod to her belief that life’s too short not to show up as your true self.

Outside of the office, you’ll find Brooke making the most of life outside of work – whether that’s cruising to a car show in her beloved Ford, heading off on an adventure with her pups and kids, or enjoying live music and good food with friends.

Wightman Legal supports clients from all walks of life, at all stages of life.

Whether you’re starting fresh, planning ahead, or protecting the people you love, our team is here to guide you with clarity and care.
